Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

RUGGED RUBBER OUTSOLE

The full rubber outsole features 4mm lugs for incredible traction both on and off-road. The built in zig-zag siping helps dissipate water and maintain ground contact.

DURABLE MATERIALS

Crafted with perforated suede where the foot flexes, allowing for maximum comfort and mobility.

WIDE TOE BOX

Unlike traditional footwear that squeeze the toes together, our foot-shaped toe box allows for maximum room giving the toes ultimate freedom to wiggle and spread.

Wide, comfortable and looks nice.
Finding anything wide enough and short enough for me is tough. Asking for it to look nice is almost impossible, but these check all the boxes! If you have normal width feet compared to length I would guess these run wide.

Nice looking shoe
My husband and I each got a pair. They definitely run half size smaller than other lems. We each have other models and he had to exchange for a full size up and I went up 1/2 size. Nice looking shoe and comfortable, good quality. they do feel a little beefier than I expected, even as they share the same base as the boulder boot they have a more cushioned feel. Expecting they will soften with wear.

Can’t wait for more colors!
I agree with the other reviews that talk about the size. Mine are just the right size with thin socks. Might consider 1/2 size up from normal. These are incredibly comfortable and look awesome. I’ll definitely get more in the future and hopefully we get some more colors!
