Just right
I’m flat footed so after reviewing these shoes I thought they would be a good fit. I’m impressed with the feel and quality of the material and treading on the Vibram soles.

Yesterday
The shoe I’ve waited for my whole life
I have a very wide foot from years of barefoot activities that never having to wear narrow dress shoes. I’ve been mountain biking for decades, both clipped in and on flats I’ve probably bought no exaggeration 50 different pairs of shoes, hoping to find something that would fit, but that would actually grip. Old Five ten impact VXI, which are discontinued worked so well for me that I would look online and buy any old stock and even buy used pairs. The new impact pro kind of worked for me, but was quickly discontinued by Five Ten. I’ve only ridden my neutral thrashers on a gravel bike and I can tell they already stick better than the Shimano’s, I’m skeptical that the Vibram mega grip will be anywhere close to Specialized 2FO or Five Ten rubber but it is remarkable that they are stickier than Shimanos GR shoes own rubber or Michelin variant rubber. Even if these things don’t quite cut it for downhill or free ride I think they will be great for the pump track and around town. I will report back.
