People have soundtracks for everything. Some songs remind us of high school. Some songs remind us of a certain someone. With the strike of a chord, they can change our moods instantaneously.

We listen to music when we’re happy and when we’re sad.

For some particular reason, specific songs can even remind us of a certain time of the year. Although some of these we are sure have been heard before, we wanted to share with you some of our favorite warm weather songs.

The Bleachers-Rollercoaster

Great road trip song with an extremely catchy chorus.

The Lumineers- Flowers in Your Hair

The first album did not seem to have a bad song on it. This one in particular but unfortunately it is a tad short. Additionally, this video of them spontaneously playing in a stairwell is great.

Portugal. The Man- The Sun

If you don’t know these guys, check ’em out. Great upbeat music.

Connor Youngblood- A Summer Song

I love this song. Something about the melody can remind you of relaxing on a beach reading a book.

Cris Cab- Good Girls

Takes us back to college. All around feel good song. He also has some amazing covers he does.

Old Crow Medicine Show- Wagon Wheel

Sorry country fans, but Old Crow was belting this song out when Darius was still called Hootie.

Power Hungry Animals- Apache Relay

The song slowly builds up and then when it finally comes in it you explode out of your seat ready to sing aloud.

The Stroke- Someday

Reminds me of The O.C.. Ah back to days watching Marissa and Ryan lounging down in Newport. California here we come

he Kooks- She Moves in Her Own Way

Another awesome tune to hang outside with.
