Get Back to Our Origins

We here at Lems Shoes don't always wear shoes, but when we do we choose the Primal2. If lightweight (6.9oz), flexible, breathable, foot-shaped, and flat are all characteristics that you look for in footwear, than look no further than this shoe. The Primal2 is assembled using a no-sewn construction, which allows the shoe to comfortably form to the natural shape of your foot. Lightweight microsuede and open-weave mesh, allow your foot increased airflow and better breathability. The low-profile 8.0mm LemsRubber sole brings you closer to the ground for a more natural stride. Our LemsLast design, with its natural foot shape, provides you with that Feelgood Fit that we pride ourselves on. So whether at work, walking the dog, or running errands, the Primal2 is certainly the 'go to shoe' for you.

Rating love the shoes
I really liked the shoes. I have a history of bunion surgery, and the the outer ends of my feet were hurting. I love how can wiggle my toes in these, and do not feel constricted. I have to make sure I wear socks that are high enough in the back of the shoe, or else it would hurt when the shoes rub against my skin on the back.

I learned about Lems from The Gait Guys. I ordered the Primal 2 and have worn them almost everyday since I got them 3 weeks ago. I have the black and they are great, but plan to order another pair in brown just to have a second pair. I wear them to work with dresses and leggings and they look nice while allowing me to stay in a shoe that will support my rehabilitation of gait issues.

Rating My Toes Can Breathe
These (Primal 2) are the shoes I have been looking for !!! They are the only ones I have found that have a wide enough toe box so I can stretch out my toes and not hit the side or the front. At the same time, the back provides enough support for my narrow heel. They are the perfect shoes for me in conjunction with CorrecToes and Katy Bowman exercises to release my high arches and uncurl my toes. I love how light and flexible they feel....

Rating So happy I found Lems
I am a runner who only wears zero drop shoes. Naturally, I want all of my shoes to have this same characteristic. A friend of mine told me about Lems. I've had the Primal shoes for about 6 weeks and I love them. Flat, roomy in the toe box, light and attractive enough to wear at work. What more could I ask for? How about another pair in a different color! I will be ordering soon.

Rating Women's Primal 2
I have been wearing my Primal 2s almost everyday and when I'm not, I am in my Boulder Boots. Love these shoes. I have a Pilates studio and wear them when I teach. I can wear my correct toes with these if I choose. Highly recommended! I am recommending them to my clients.

Primal 2's are great! I have every style of Lems and these do not disappoint. No wonder they are fav's of The Northwest Foot and Ankle staff. So glad I found you guys and thanks for an uber-cool shoe!

Rating LOVE my Lem's
LOVE my Lem's primal 2. Even after a 14 mile walk, they felt comfy, light & airy. Not only do I wear Lems, but I have my young son in them as well, and so far, he too thinks they are comfortable. They don't bog down your feet like "traditional" type of shoe wear. Also, because they are flat from heel to toe, they don't lose their shape like my old sneakers.. (which by the way I gave away) Lems has become my number one shoe and since purchasing them, I haven't worn anything else.

Rating Great Shoes
I have bunions in both my feet: I am a critical care RN running too much(sometimes literally) around my unit to get things done. I developed bunions, they hurt was considering surgery. After much review, I saw the shoe online, I saw the toe divider and decided to try them. I love the shoes and the toe divider. I am still far away from seeing results as they don't happen overnight, but if I can avoid the surgery, I'll take it anytime.

Rating Not as good as one...
Had a pair of primal 1's, loved them. These the toe box seems narrower. The tongue is MUCH too padded and adds too much bulk to the top of my foot.

Rating Love Them
I wish these were a little wider in the forefoot/midfoot, I have very wide feet (2E). Apart from that, they are super comfy, and so light. There is just enough cushioning underneath, I really love them! I wish there was a bit more depth/height in the instep and toebox as I would like to add some cushioning pads for long days on my feet. Next time I'm going to go for a mens size.

Rating Going Back to Dansko
Decided to try lems on the recommendation of a co-worker. Definitely not the shoe for me. I am a server and I could only wear them for 3-4 hours before my feet were hurting. Going back to dansco.

Rating Thank you
These arrived three days ago and I have worn them ever since. They do not hurt my feet, and the only other shoes I can say that about are my slippers. I work on my feet all day - I thought doing that in minimalist shoes might give me sore foot soles - no, it doesn't. Stiff, too narrow shoes is what gives me sore feet! Thank you Lems.

Rating Happy Feet!
I've only worn Fivefingers for the last 3 years but due to my employer, I had to find something else. I tried many minimalist shoes and couldn't find anything that didn't hurt. These shoes peaked my interest and I was very glad to find that my toes had ROOM! I did order a size too big and they are definitely a bigger than I prefer but they're still comfy. I removed the insert to give more ground feel, though they're still thicker than I'm used to with my Vibrams. So far, my feet are happy!

Rating loving my Lems
These Lems are terrific, I still have the earlier version and wear both. These let more air in and seem even more comfortable, I have the earlier version in brown and grey and the boulder style and maryjane ones as well. I am addicted to this Lems and rarely wear any other kind of shoe!

Rating The only shoe I need
According to my Fitbit, I've walked more than 3000 miles in the past 2 years, and I was wearing my Primal 1's for probably 90% of those miles. I wear them for everything -- work, errands, hiking, camping, running. About a month ago, I finally replaced the original Primal 1's with a pair of Primal 2's, and dare I say, they're even better than the original design. FYI, the Primal 2's definitely fit smaller than the Primal 1's, so I went up a size in the new ones.

Rating Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned
These are by far the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned. Paired with Injinji toe socks, they're almost like being barefoot, but more cushy. Make sure you get them in the right size. They run small.

Rating The Best.
My feet are so happy now. This was my third pair of Lems (I also have the Boulder Boot and the first Primal shoe.) One of my projects for 2014 is to not buy any clothes or shoes... so when it came time to buy my last items before new years, a new pair of Lems was top on my list. I'll be back for more come January 2015, I'm sure!
