Get Back to Our Origins

We here at Lems Shoes don't always wear shoes, but when we do we choose the Primal2. If lightweight (6.9oz), flexible, breathable, foot-shaped, and flat are all characteristics that you look for in footwear, than look no further than this shoe. The Primal2 is assembled using a no-sewn construction, which allows the shoe to comfortably form to the natural shape of your foot. Lightweight microsuede and open-weave mesh, allow your foot increased airflow and better breathability. The low-profile 8.0mm LemsRubber sole brings you closer to the ground for a more natural stride. Our LemsLast design, with its natural foot shape, provides you with that Feelgood Fit that we pride ourselves on. So whether at work, walking the dog, or running errands, the Primal2 is certainly the 'go to shoe' for you.

Rating Very Comfortable
I usually only wear shoes when hiking. Got these for some nicer barefoot shoes when needed. Super comfortable and they look great. I walk barefoot often so, no worries on getting use to them. Make a trail pair with mesh, knobby soles and a single pull lacing system and I'll buy those too.

Rating Great shoes!
This is my first pair of true minimalist shoes and they are awesome; I constantly get compliments on how they look. They are very comfortable to wear and are very easy to slip on and off. Being new to barefoot/minimalist shoes, it took a while to get used to the harder heel strike impact of walking than with conventional more padded shoes; however, that feeling has gone away after regular use.

Rating Love the shoes
As far as barefoot shoes go. These are great. The sole is a tad bit thick, but that's nice in my not-so-urban area. I don't particularly like the slogan on the back of the shoe (but a sharpie fixed that).

Rating I hate shoes, but I love these.
I generally buy shoes too big for the extra toe room, and eventually started wearing a pair of Merrell Trail Gloves. I Like the Merrells, but they are a bit tight around the middle of my foot, and for some reason I decided to go with the bright orange color... So I've been searching for a nondescript minimalist shoe, and these are perfect in every possible way. Well, I've only had them for a couple of days, so I can't attest to the durability, but they are the most comfortable shoes I've owned.

Rating Fantastic sneakers!
I purchased these for my husband, who has super wide feet and he loves them. He's never tried a minimal shoe before and he told me he's now hooked! They have the widest toe box around and are stylish. The sole is flexible and thin but will provide a little more protection on paved surfaces than other extremely thin-soled brands. A great shoe! He may be purchasing the 9-5s in the future as well.

Rating Best minimalistic shoes for my feet
I have wide feet and these are by far the most comfortable minimalistic shoes I had. They also look great! The rounded heel of the sole felt strange at first but it was easy to get used to it.

Rating Comfortable, but wear out quick
These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! However, I walk a lot in the city and the soles lose tread and wear through very quickly. I'd estimate I get about 300 miles out of them, which for me is 3 months (not very long). My other shoes, which have harder rubber soles, last about a year and cost half as much... but those make my toes sad... If Lems lasted 6 months, I'd give them 5 stars!

Rating Great shoes
Extremely comfortable shoes, I think the most comfortable shoes I've worn. Not the lightest minimalist shoes I've owned but the air flow through the mesh is great and keeps my feet cool and they dry quickly. I wear mine casually, on runs, mountain biking and for working out. The tongue was a bit bothersome at first but after breaking in I don't notice it at all. Highly recommend, I may try the boots next.

Rating Muy Beuno!
These shoes are great! I don't wear any other shoe. They are sturdy and comfortable enough for long hikes through rugged wilderness and they even work on city sidewalks...go figure!

Rating My Favorite Shoes
The Primal 2 is just as flexible and more durable than my Feiyus. They also look a lot nicer than my VFF and my NB Minimus Zero MT00s. The insole added a too tight feeling and an arch support, which was awful. After removing the insole they instantly became the most comfortable shoe in the world. The Primal 2 is now my favorite shoe, and probably the best shoe I've ever worn, ever.

Love these shoes very much so. I require my shoes to be as minimal as possible and with these Primal 2's that's just what I got! They are very lightweight and function extremely well. The quality of each shoe is top-notch and I've received many compliments noting that the style is keen as well! Very soon after getting my pair I took to the streets; the shoes felt great and produced zero discomfort nor can I come up with any complaints! Awesome shoe! Give thanks!

Rating Great Shoe
I have had a few pairs of minimalist shoes for casual wear before. I especially liked the look of these. These may very well be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I personally removed the lining for the extra room. My initial criticism was that I didn't love the look of the mesh on top but I ate my words pretty shortly. The breathability it introduces to the shoe is great. I wear these almost every day and often ride my bike with them. You can feel the breeze come right through.

I have an original pair of Stems (look like primal 1) and they've lasted longer than I ever expected. I tore a tendon in my toe and since switching to these, my feet and ankles are stronger than ever. These shoes really make a big difference in your quality of life. I highly recommend. You have to get used to them, but once you do take out the insoles and wear them full time.

Rating Great Shoe!
I love your shoes, thanks for making them. Like many, I originally found the barefoot movement because I was intrigued by the "toe shoes". As it turns out, however, being in the Army I can't wear shoes with separate digits. I began looking for a minimalist shoe that would work with my PT uniform. I tried on all kinds of shoes and never found one that was quite right. I was about to give up when I saw your shoes at a running store by the home where I grew up in Utah.

Rating feel the breeze!
Ordered these for work shoes and they are fabulous! Definitely more rugged/utilitarian looking than pretty but super comfy; great "ground feel" and, best if, I can feel the breeze on my toes! Only issue was the tongue of the shoe hit my ankle at an uncomfortable angle -- most likely because I have super high arches. Taking the laces out of the top hole solved this problem completely. All in all, very happy with this pair of shoes.

Rating Nice update
The Primal 2's are a nice update to the second generation Leming. The entire shoe is crafted better with less stitching & has a removable insole. I don't think they're quite as comfortable as the Lemings, but still one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. You will NOT be disappointed.
